白河峡谷位于怀柔境内，距离北京市区天安门105公里左右，白河峡谷是从延庆区东北旧县境内的白河堡水库，经过怀柔，流向密云水库的河流大峡谷。峡谷的上半段是白河堡水库到怀柔汤河口。白河堡水库是第一处景点，之后是明代外长城的重要关口——小水口。
这是一处原始风貌保存相当完整的自然峡谷，与永定河官厅峡谷和拒马河峡谷并称“京都三大峡谷”，而白河峡谷因其壮丽的风景，更有“百里画廊”的美誉。

公交路线
北京东直门乘916路公共汽车，在怀柔汽车站下车，在换乘936或者去往汤河口方向的班车，到前安岭二桥下车，打车到青石岭村最南面水电站（因为那里村落稀少至今没有公交车通行）。
由于家园乘坐936支线（怀柔—汤河口）前安岭二桥下车，打车到青石岭村最南面水电站京北一漂漂流接待站。
自驾游路线
由“京密路”或“京承高速”至怀柔“开放环岛”，继续向丰宁方向行驶；
沿“怀丰公路”(111国道)行驶约45公里到达“前安岭二桥”，右转8.5公里即到青石岭村最南面水电站即到京北一漂码头。
京承高速15出口下-分水岭隧道-琉璃庙-前安岭二桥右转-八宝堂-白河北–青石岭村最南面—-京北一漂接待站。
